SQUASH, WHITE SCALLOP (BUSH)
A beautifully shaped white scallop squash. Creamy texture with very flavorful taste. Also known as Patty Pan. Used in a variety of recipies and can be fried or stuffed. Bush and compact growth making it ideal for small gardens.
After all danger of frost, in a sunny location, sow five seeds spaced evenly over a hill 9-12 inches tall and 2 feet accross. When plants are 3 inches tall, thin by cutting to the 3 strongest seedlings per hill. To avoid weeding, mulch around plants and in the rows.
